Jay Z is killing the game, AGAIN.

This episode moves faster than a freight train. We open talking about Kanye West and Kim Kardashians new baby, we move from there to look at how Jay Z has taken mantle over as king of all big business in Hip-Hop. He has truly replaced MC Hammer as he redifines what it means to be a businessman in Hip-Hop. After the viewing of the Maga Carta Holy Grail ad on TV during the NBA Finals, there can simply be no question about his place in the game.

From there we take a look at the 2 Chainz attempted jacking in SF and a deeper look at the history of rappers getting gaffled in The Bay. DJ Quik could have told him how it was in The Bay, but there is a cultural shift in industry business that has cut off mainstream rappers from the communities that buy their music. Lean back and learn something!

Legendary pimp and author Iceberg Slim and his partner in crime Partytime. How does a pimp gain redemption after all the pain they have caused? Iceberg knows.

From there we take a look at the deeper elements of author Iceberg Slim and ask the question "Can there ever be redeption for a pimp?" His work gave birth to the Blaxploitation films of the 70's, and was the motivation for artists like Ice T, Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, Jay- Z and Cash Money Record founders Baby and Slim. Was there more to Iceberg than meets the eye? Cash Money Content is currently owns the bulk of Ice Berg Slims work and is selling it to a new generation of young people. How might this affect those hyponotized by the "pimp life"? From there we end with a fantastic interview with CEO of Sgrouples.com Mark Weinstein having a serious talk about privacy and whats really at stake for the American public.

Episode 10: The C.R.E.A.M. Show! Tackling Gangster Bankers and Economic Terrorists

  CLICK PLAY

In this issue we take on gangster bankers and corrupt people in education who function as educational terrorists. We take a deep and serious look at the economic impact and the rarely discussed human toll of corruption within HSBC and San Francisco Unified School District .

They create a ripple effect of crime, drug use and emotional distress within the families they affect.

Our guests are Basketball coach and mentor LyRyan Russell and Hip-Hop Chess Federation Education Director Arash Daneshzadeh.

Then we talk with Henry Medina. He was the leader of the notorious Young Galaxies gang in NY in the 70's. His life and journey from teen gang leader to active mentor and peacemaker in San Francisco is amazing.

Dr. MLK Jr., taught that poverty was the root of much violence. Lets learn about who keeps those cycles in motion and why many in the government are so reluctant to prosecute to the full extent of the law.

This is not an attack on banks, bankers or capitalism. Rather it is a counterattack on those who abuse it.

Learn about a close knit group of banks, cartels and shady business people so good at what they do, they are truly untouchable. But their victory, is your loss for many years to come.

Episode 8: A Deeper Look at the Boston Bombings Pt. 1

This was probably the hardest show for me to record, because the topic is so complex and the end result will have impact on ALL American citizens and the potential to being a new era of peace. We are talking about the Boston Bombing.

After a short look at some current events like Jason Collier coming out in the NBA and some cool news about Yahoo! and the implications of Snoop Dogg (promoting a gun buy back program), we talk about the Boston Bombers.

We know what you have seen in the media. We know what you think you may know about the Boston Bombings. Nevertheless, there are a lot of conversations NOT happening in regards to the terror attacks themselves and the religions, social and political implications they leave in America's wake.

In this episode we talk about how little we really know about the attacks, about those blamed for the attacks, about Chechens, about Islam in America and the failure of the media to really investigate this issue with sincerity, instead of sensationalism.

This will be an ongoing discussion. This is not about conspiracy theories. This is about taking a hard look at what happened, what we understand (and don't understand about these attacks and who is being left out of the conversation to our detriment.

This is not a show made for people on the hard left or the hard right. This is for the people looking to learn the truth about where we are, how we got here and what we can start to do so we can leave this state of confusion and violence.

We hope you take this show seriously. We hope you join us in the search for truth and peace.

Episode 7.5: Ace Hood Can't Drive, Jay Z and Beyonce in Cuba, Ray J Still Sprung on Kim?, Rutgers Drama & Audio from Harvard Lecture on Hip-Hop & Chess

SPECIAL NOTE: This is not a regular episode. Right here I go hard in the paint on a few issues bubbling in the entertainment sector, WE GOTTA TALK ABOUT JAY-Z AND BEYONCE IN CUBA!!! We have a lot of fun though so, buckle up and put on your crash helmet. First we look at the Bugatti video by Ace Hood. Its one of my favorite jams right now and I like the video to. The only odd thing is that he never drives the Bugatti in the video. I think I figured out why.

beyonce-knowles-and-jay-z-visit-cuba-on-fifth-wedding-anniversary.jpg

From there we look at the new Ray J song "I Hit It First". While I'm sure this song is giving Kanye West and Kim Kardashian fits, Ray J sounds like a dude still sprung off a girl who left him danglin'. After that I give you my take on the Rutgers issue and we talk a bit about the basketball player (Kevin Ware) with the crazy busted leg we all saw on TV.

Then we cut to the super-scientifical-brain-bustin' Hip-Hop, chess, and martial arts lecture I gave at Harvard Graduate School of Education in March 2013. This is an edited down version that does not include all the video and audio I use in my presentations. We just wanted to give a chance for those who are curious about the Hip-Hop Chess Federation philosophies and ideas a look at what it is about.

Episode 7: Cure for Lil Wayne's addiction, Gay Marriage, Are Boycotts Useless? , Taliban Kills Teacher, & MMA Fighter Mark Miller

This show is jam packed. So much insanity is going on in the world so we have a lot to get into. First we talk about Lil Wayne, the state of his addiction and how an authentic cure that may exist for him in Mexico. Then we take a look at gay marriage in the Supreme Court, and Prop 8. From there we talk about how Adisa eats at Chick-fil-A and ask the question "Can you vote for Prop 8 and still eat at Chick-Fil-A?"

chic-fil-a-banner-meal.jpg

From there we look at the history of boycotting in America and we ask another question "Is boycotting played out? Is it still an authentic tool to force change? We take a historic look at successful boycotts in Montgomery Alabama, South African apartheid ,the musicians boycott of Sun City and others.

girlreading.jpg

Moving along we look at a sad story where a Muslim female teacher was murdered in Pakistan. Adisa Banjoko makes a personal plea to the men of Islam about the protection of Muslim women and girls around the world.

Then we take a look at Hip-Hop's biggest secret. Slavery still exists. A lot of old school rappers are slaves to the tour, because they singed bad contracts. We're gonna look into that reality. Here we look at the HHCF poisoned pawn life strategy and how many rappers fell for it.

From there we talk with Mark "Fightshark" Miller about his amazing path in MMA. If you know anyone who thinks they want to do MMA, make sure they listen to this interview. Shelby Jones is on deck with him and we talk about the many joys and pains of MMA life. We also talk about his new book being published by Anthony Bourdain.

MMA fighter and author Mark "Fightshark" Miller explaining the REAL life of an MMA fighter and how he walked into a book deal with Anthony Bourdain.

Bishop Chronicles Episode 6: Ronda Rousey Potential Weakness, Interview w/ Rener Gracie and Rapper Rakaa Iriscience of Dilated Peoples

This is the weekend we have a lot of fun looking at some things we love. Hip-Hop and MMA!!! First Adisa breaks down his trip to Cambridge to speak at Harvard. He speaks especially about how Bay Area people are not built for East coast weather.

Then we move on to talk about the Ronda Rousey Liz Carmouche fight. It was magnificent, but, some say Rousey had a key weakness exposed. Do you agree?

Liz Carmouche on Ronda's back at UFC.

From there, we talk about something I think we sprouting up all over America in the next decade or so: The rise of cults. Cult behavior is popping up in all kinds of odd places and the idea here is really about protecting your own mind and faith in your OWN ability to solve issues.

Finally we talk with the one any only Rener Gracie and Rakaa Iriscience from Dilated Peoples about the differences between MMA and Gracie Jiu JiuJitsu. While many think they are the same, they are worlds apart. Rakka makes some great insights showing the connections between what Gracie Jiu Jitsu is and what the MMA industry market to the masses, have a striking correlation to what Hip-Hop is and what the Rap industry market to the masses. Come learn a bit more about the sport you love.
